Cilantro Lime Dipping Sauce


Cilantro Lime Dipping Sauce

1/4 cup vegetable oil
Juice of 1/2 lime
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 cup cilantro fresh leaves
1 clove garlic
1 tsp honey
salt to taste
pepper to taste
In a blender, combine the oil, lime juice, lemon juice, cilantro, garlic, honey, salt and pepper. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary.
This is a wonderful dipping sauce for chicken, shrimp, cauliflower, broccoli, the options are endless!

This sauce freezes very well should you have leftovers.  I just pour the sauce into a zip-top bag and pop it in the freezer.  When it comes time to use it for another dish, simply hold the bag under running hot water until it has thawed, should take less then a minute.
