Peach and Walnut Oatmeal

One thing I have seriously always wondered is, are peaches sweeter in Georgia?  Random, yes I know.

Peaches are in season right now, they are so juicy and delicious!  I decided to incorporate them into my breakfasts this week.  This isn't necessarily a recipe but more-so an idea how to switch up your oatmeal.

Peach and Walnut Oatmeal

Ingredients

Oatmeal of your choice (Old Fashion, Quick-Oats, Steel Cut, etc.)*

Water

Cinnamon

Fresh Peach, cut into thin wedges (make sure it is washed)

Golden Raisins
Chopped Walnuts
Agave Nectar or Honey

* see below for more recipes using oatmeal

Directions

Follow the oatmeal cooking instructions on the container.

Once oatmeal is finished cooking, arrange 1/2 of the peach (per serving) over the oats followed by the golden raisins, walnuts, cinnamon and agave (or honey).

I am loving this combination so much! It is just oh-my-goodness amazing! I hope you enjoy it!
