I am a huge fan of liquid lunch (yes, that kind too) but today I mean a smoothie.
If you are anything like me, sometimes you need a quick snack or just a boost added to your lunch. Smoothies are a great way to do just that, here is a quick and easy way to make a Blueberry, Spinach & Banana Smoothie.
1 medium banana
1 large handful of spinach
*I buy a few packages of blueberries when they are on sale, wash and freeze them for smoothies, that way you do not have to use ice which will water your smoothie down.
Start by placing a handful of spinach in the blender followed by the banana and blueberries. Next pour in the coconut water, I usually start with approximately 1/2 cup. Start the blender and blend until mixed well, add more of the coconut water until you reach the desired consistency.
I love this smoothie because it is very good for you & it tastes delicious while filling you up!
